Automatic Sliding Gates - Double Bay - Eastern Suburbs

We recently had a client we had carried out an installation for 10 years ago, return and ask us to manufacture an Automatic Sliding Gate for his new home in Double Bay.

The challenge of this site was that there was not enough side room to accommodate the driveway width of the gate when it slid into the open position.

We did not want to compromise and reduce the opening of the driveway access when the gate was opened which would have been the case if we installed a standard automatic sliding gate or automatic swing gate.

Due to this, we recommended a Telescopic Sliding Driveway Gate . The design of an automatic telescopic sliding gate allows it to be split into two separate sliding gate leaves which when the gate opens overlap each other allow maximum gate opening space when installing on a block with a smaller side room width than driveway width which is a constant issue especially in the Eastern Suburbs and inner Sydney areas as blocks are narrower.

As per the clients brief we clad the gate with random size horizontal timbers and finished it in a dulux weathered look stain resulting in a stunning finish.

The gate operating system used was a medium duty sliding gate operator system which came with key ring remote controls for easy access from vehicles and a we installed a wireless wall mounted remote control inside the home for easy operation of the gate from inside the house.
